Taal Volcano & Lake Taal

Taal Volcano is one of the smallest and most dangerous volcanoes in the world.

Talisay is a good starting point for trips to the Volcano island. From top of the volcano you have got a great view to Tagaytay, Talisay, and of course down to Lake Taal.

Puerto Galera, Mindoro

Puerto Galera with its beautiful bays and nice beaches, as well as with its attractive underwater world is a popular destination, especially for Manileños. It's just an approximately 5-hours drive from Manila (bus and ferry).

Baguio

The country's summer capital, Baguio which is also known as the "City of Pines" stands amidst the mountainous region of the Cordillera. Situated 1,500 meters above the sea, Baguio is one of the few places in the country blessed with a cool climate. At any given time, it is eight degrees cooler in Baguio than the lowlands.

Banaue

The spectacular rice terraces around Banaue, in north Luzon, have been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Carved out of the hillside by Ifugao tribespeople 2000 to 3000 years ago, these remarkable terraces stretch like stepping stones to the sky - some reaching an altitude of 1,500 meters.

What to see: Banaue View Point, Tam-an village, village of Poitan, Hapao Rice Terraces, Banga-an village, amphitheatre rice terraces of Batad, Guihob natural pool, etc.

Corregidor Island

Corregidor Island is a veteran's historic isle of remembrance, an eternal witness to the valiant heroism and chilling horrors of war.

The name Corregidor was derived from the Spanish word corregir meaning to correct or check as this island served as a check point for vessels entering Manila Bay during the Spanish and American occupation.

What to see: Malinta Tunnel, Pacific War Memorial, Lighthouse, etc.
