Southeast Asia Accommodation Report
The following list shows all the places where we stayed during our trip.
The prices (local currency) are quoted per double room with shared bath and fan (if not, it's stated otherwise).
The description of the hostels/hotels/guesthouses is my personal opinion and therefore subjective.
Rating: 1 = very good, recommended; 2 = good; 3 = ok; 4 = not the best choice; 5 = avoid

Bangkok
Over the time we tried and checked out many hotels/hostels/guesthouses in Bangkok; most of the time they were very bad value (too expensive for a box-like room, especially the ones on Khao San…). However, sometimes you don't have a choice - if everything is fully booked you have to take what's available… better reserve a room ahead of time.
- Hello Guesthouse: 180 THB; too small, dirty, horrible (but the only one that had a vacant room then…) --- 5!
