Port Antonio & North Coast

Port Antonio, tucked away on Jamaica's northeast coast, is away from the hustle and bustle of most tourist destinations. It's the kind of place you see on postcards, but seldom find.
There a lot of things to do in and around Port Antonio. My personal favorite was the Rio Grande River Rafting. Raftsmen pole two-seat bamboo floaters over this clear, shallow stream serenading you along a scenic 2 to 2 1/2-hour trip.

Unfortunately the Nonsuch Caves were closed by the time of your visit but are said to be fabulous.
