Well, it might be a little bit dangerous to relax on a white beach on a dream-like island in the Caribbean and watch the turquoise sea from semiclosed eyes. Why? Well, you know, the thing with this statistic. The one about coconuts and sharks and the fact that more people per year are attacked by coconuts than by sharks. Call me venturous, careless or whatsoever: I can live with that danger - it's my pleasure :-)

Tobago is a true gem of the Caribbean… and once you behold her beauty, you will understand why Tobago was Robinson Crusoe's isle.

Tobago, with its 300 square-km and roughly 45,000 inhabitants, is a miniature-masterpiece and abounds with natural allure: palm-lined, tranquil beaches, lush rain forests and pristine coral reefs teeming with rich marine life.

Like most good things, there are countless ways to enjoy this island - whether it's bird-watching, trekking in the oldest rain forest in the Western Hemisphere, diving, exploring the island by car or just relaxing on the peaceful beaches. Oli and I decided on a healthy mix on all of the above activities - in a healthy pace :-)
Tobago is a place where time slows down, where there is no hustle and bustle, and the only responsibility you have is to take it easy. The most popular sport/pastime of Tobago is liming. Liming is described as a scheduled or non-scheduled event where a group of people (friends, family, acquaintances etc.) takes time to "hang out". The concept transcends ethnicity, class and religious barriers. It is an activity geared towards relaxation, stress relief through the means of talking, eating and drinking or just "doing nothing".
