We rented a car and toured the island.
The following route (126 km) took us, in a leisurely pace, approximately a day: Green Hill Waterfall - trekking the Gilpin Trail @ Main Ridge Forest Reserve - Bloody Bay - Parlatuvier Bay - Englishman's Bay - Castara Bay - Mason Hall - Canoe Bay - back to Crown Point
